Our Story

My name is Jaron, and Northern Edge is more than a business name. It’s a nod to where I grew up on the northern edge of Utah. That landscape shaped who I am and inspired the craftsmanship I put into every project.

Woodworking has always been a passion of mine, but custom doors are where I truly come alive. There is something incredible about watching a space transform the moment a handcrafted door is installed. I love working closely with people, understanding their vision, and building something that feels uniquely theirs.

At home, life is full and lively. My wife and I are raising six young children on our small farm, surrounded by cows, horses, goats, cats, dogs, and more chickens than we can count. It is a lot of work, but it brings us a lot of joy. When we are not in the shop or on the farm, you will usually find us outdoors, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the beauty of Utah.

I studied geology at Utah State University, which gave me a deep appreciation for natural materials and the stories they hold. Today, I bring that same appreciation into every piece I build.
